One of the best tools we have for testing the stability of a tree is the resistograph, with it we drill through the tree and can get a sample that will accurately show us any signs of weakness, cracking, or decay. A lot of various shrubbery grows quickly and can become dense and twisted very suddenly. Shrubbery reshaping not only makes them look more attractive, but it makes them healthier and allows them to grow better.
The best advice we can give is not pruning with the intentions of controlling size, as it’ll just grow back quickly. Our biggest goal when working with any kind of shrubbery is cultivating them to mature size and ensuring they have sturdy stems and strong foliage.
